Hardware Design Engineer

Our office for Hardware Design Engineer is situated at No 52 along the I. T. Highway, which most people just call Old Mahaballipuram Road. We are right in the Sholinganallur area of Chennai. If you have ever driven down the OMR during rush hour, you know exactly what the traffic is like. It is a very busy part of the city with lots of tall buildings and people rushing around. Our place at No 52 is just a regular spot among all that activity. We come in every morning, deal with the Chennai heat, and get started on our engineering work. There is always a lot to do. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our tools and computers. We spend a lot of time on hardware projects, focusing on the details of design. Outside, you can hear the hum of the highway and the buses going past. Sholinganallur has changed a lot over the years, becoming a hub for this kind of work. We’ve stayed here because it’s where the action is. It is a bit of a trek for some of us to get here, but once we are inside, it is just about getting the job done. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. It’s just us, our desks, and the work we do every day on this busy stretch of road. It makes for a long day when you factor in the commute.
