Hanumanji Minerals

Hanumanji Minerals is tucked away on Nemi Chand Street in the Gung Para area. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here. The street is narrow and we often have to tell the delivery drivers to be careful with their trucks. We’ve got a small office here and a yard where we keep the samples. It gets a bit messy with the dust from the minerals, so we are always sweeping. But you can't really keep a place like this perfectly clean. My father started this, and now we just keep it running. There’s a tea shop just around the corner where we usually get our mid-morning fix. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the materials well. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the mines and checking the quality of what comes in. The paperwork piles up on the wooden desks, and sometimes we lose a pen or two in the mess. It's a simple operation. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our reputation on this street. People know to come to Gung Para if they need what we have. It’s a quiet life mostly, just managing the inventory and making sure the orders go out on time. We like the rhythm of it.
