Hanuk Designers & Engineers

Hanuk Designers & Engineers operates out of a space in Chikka Banavara at Dongri 12/1/A. It’s a practical office where you’ll usually find someone hunched over a desk looking at technical drawings or talking on the phone about a site visit. We have a lot of rolled-up blueprints in the corners and the smell of ink is pretty much always in the air. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we need. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure the designs actually make sense for the project at hand. We go out to sites quite a bit, so the office can be quiet for a few hours before everyone comes back with muddy boots and notes scribbled on pieces of paper. There is a large table in the middle where we spread out the bigger plans to talk through things. The power cuts in Chikka Banavara can be a bit of a nuisance, so we have to keep our computers backed up all the time. It is a lot of technical work and sometimes it gets a bit repetitive with all the calculations. We have been in this Dongri location for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. We just stick to the work and try to get the engineering parts right without making a fuss about it.
