Guide Tours & Travels

We have our Guide Tours & Travels office at 3 Seshadripuram on D P Road. We are quite close to Vidya Niketan, so there are always students and parents walking by our window during the day. It’s a small space, but we manage to fit in everything we need to run the business. Most of the time, we are just looking at maps or checking bus timings for people who want to head out of the city for a weekend break. The traffic on D P Road can get really loud, especially in the evenings, but we don't mind it too much. We have a couple of old desks and a computer that is usually running a few different windows for bookings. People stop in to ask about car rentals or how to get to the airport the fastest way. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights, just a small board outside so people know where we are. Our work is mostly about coordinating with drivers and making sure the vehicles are ready to go. It involves a lot of waiting for confirmations and writing down details in our big diary. Sometimes we have to deal with cancellations or rain slowing things down, but that is just part of the travel business. We just try to keep things moving and help our neighbors get their trips planned out.
