Gs Cabs operates out of a small office at 17/1 Kadirappa Road in Doddagunte. We aren't a massive taxi company with a thousand cars and a fancy app. We are just a local cab service that helps people get where they need to go. Our fleet is small, but we try to keep the cars in good shape and the drivers are people we trust. Doddagunte is a busy place, and Kadirappa Road can get quite jammed, so we spend a lot of time on our phones coordinating where the cars are. We don't have a big call center with people in headsets. It’s usually just one of us sitting at a desk with a couple of mobile phones and a ledger. We handle a lot of airport drops and pick-ups, especially in the early hours of the morning when the buses aren't running yet. We know the city roads pretty well, including the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic, though sometimes nothing helps in Bangalore. Our customers are mostly folks who live nearby or small businesses that need a ride for their guests. We don't have a marketing team or a polished image. We just try to show up on time and get people to their destination without any drama. It’s a tough business with the fuel prices going up, but we keep at it because it’s what we do.
