Motherland Apparels

Our unit is at No. 39 in Goverdhan Garden, which is inside the J. C. Industrial Estate on Kanakapura Road. It is a busy area with a lot of manufacturing going on all around us. We have a decent space here with a lot of sewing machines and cutting tables. The sound of the machines is constant from morning until we close up. We make various types of apparel and there is always a lot of fabric being moved around. The floors are usually covered in small bits of thread and cloth. We have a group of local workers who have been with us for a long time. It is a hardworking environment and we don't have any fancy office space. Our small desk is right in the middle of everything. Kanakapura Road is always jammed with traffic, which makes getting deliveries a bit slow sometimes. We don't really do any marketing or have a big sign outside. Most people who deal with us know how we stitch things through word of mouth. It is just an honest garment unit doing its daily work. We don't try to be anything we are not. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch, but that is just part of the job. It is a simple, busy life in the estate.
