Mahadevapura Sector 30 is where we ended up setting up Globe Engineers. Specifically at 46/95. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to the layout of the sector. The shop itself is a solid building with a heavy metal gate that we slide open every morning. It’s usually dusty because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep the work surfaces clean. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledgers and the phone, but most of the action happens in the back where the equipment is. Globe Engineers is just a group of people who enjoy mechanical stuff. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar with some old photos and a list of things to finish by Friday. The light inside is a bit dim, but we have some bright lamps over the workbenches. We share the building with a few other small businesses, so there’s always someone to talk to in the alleyway. We’ve got a routine that rarely changes. We start at nine, break at one, and finish when the light starts to fade. It’s honest work. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just fix things and make things. That’s how we’ve always done it at Mahadevapura, and it seems to work out okay for us and the people we help.
