Globe City Taxi

Globe City Taxi is located at 73/3 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. One of the best things about being here is the smell from the Agarbhati factory right next door; it usually smells like incense all day long. Our office is a simple one where we coordinate our drivers and take bookings. It’s a lot of sitting around the radio and the phone, making sure everyone is where they need to be. RT Nagar is a good spot for us because it’s well-connected, even if the traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. The office has a few old chairs and a map on the wall that we’ve used for years. We aren't a big app-based company with millions in funding. We are just a local taxi service with drivers who actually know the shortcuts around the city. Sometimes things get stressful when there’s a big rainstorm and everyone wants a cab at once, but we do what we can. We've been in this building for a long time and the neighbors know us well. The garage area always has a car or two getting a quick oil change or a wash. It’s a busy, noisy, and often messy business, but it keeps the city moving. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a place to get the job done and keep the cars on the road. We spend a lot of time drinking chai and talking about the day's routes.
