Girija Shankar

Our office is located right on Brigade Road, specifically at number 14. We are situated directly above the Coffee Day, which means the smell of brewing coffee often drifts up into our rooms. It’s a small space, but it’s where Girija Shankar operates from every single day. Being in such a busy part of Bangalore has its pros and cons. The noise from the street is constant, with people shopping and cars honking, but it feels like we’re right in the middle of everything. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. You just come up and see us. Most of the time, we’re busy with whatever papers are on the desk that morning. It can get a bit hectic when multiple things happen at once, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time. People often use the coffee shop downstairs as a landmark to find us. Inside, it’s mostly just bookshelves and a few old desks. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. We spend our hours answering calls and typing out what needs to be typed. It’s a simple setup for simple work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a local spot where the work gets handled. If you need us, we’re usually here until the evening when the street gets even busier. It is just a normal, everyday office for us.
