Ge-Oil&Gas(Quest-Global)

We are over at A-305, Noble House Apartments in Bangalore. It’s a bit of a different setup being in an apartment complex, but it works for Ge-Oil&Gas(Quest-Global). It’s not your typical office building with a big sign out front. We’re just tucked away in one of the units. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of technical manuals and gear. Since we are in Bangalore, the traffic on the way to Noble House is always a topic of conversation in the morning. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on our computers. It’s a specialized kind of work, but we don't treat it like anything special. It’s just what we do. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing with "team building" or "synergy." We just like to get our tasks finished so we can go home. The office can get a bit cramped when everyone is in, but we manage. We share stories over lunch and complain about the same things everyone else does. It’s a very human place. No one is trying to impress anyone else. We just want to do the job correctly and avoid any major headaches. It’s a small, focused environment. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done. We like the practical nature of it all. It’s a simple living for us here in India.
