Garden City Taxi

We are based out of Benson Town on Anjaneya Temple Street. It is a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads around here, which is nice for us. At number 37, we spend most of our time coordinating where the cars need to go next. The phone is usually ringing with people looking for a ride or asking about our rates. It can get a bit hectic in the early mornings when everyone is trying to get to the airport or their offices on time. We have a small area where the drivers can sit and have a quick coffee while they wait for their next trip to come in. There is always a lot of talk about the traffic and which roads are currently blocked off for some kind of construction. Bangalore traffic is something we have to deal with every single hour of the day. We try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can, but it is not always easy. It is not a fancy operation at all. We have our ledgers and our phones and that is basically it. The temple nearby means there is often music or bells playing in the background, which is a nice sound while we work. We do not have a marketing team. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth or by seeing the cars around the neighborhood. It is just a local service trying to help people get where they need to go. We take it one day at a time.
