Garden City Cabs City Taxi

Our small office is situated in BTM 2nd Stage, which is not very far from the Madina Masjid and the Gangothri Circle. we run a local taxi service from this spot. It is usually a bit chaotic inside because we have drivers constantly coming in and out to check their daily schedules or pick up keys. There is almost always a pot of tea sitting on the table and you can hear the sound of the radio dispatch humming in the background. We have a few old, mismatched chairs where the drivers can sit and rest while they wait for their next passenger to call. If it is a slow hour of the day, you will usually see a couple of our yellow and black cabs parked right outside the door. This particular part of Udhna gets very busy, especially during the rush hours in the morning. We have been operating out of this same spot at number 20 for quite a long time now. Many of the people who live in the neighborhood just walk right in to book a ride for the airport or a long trip out of town. We don't use any of those fancy smartphone apps or high-tech tracking systems here. It is mostly just handwritten logbooks and answering the phone when it rings. Sometimes a driver is running late because the traffic near the circle is backed up, and we have to explain the situation to the waiting customer. It is a tough business with very long hours.
