We have our small office over here at 134, Kn Complex, which is right on 2nd Cross in Malleswaram. It’s been our base for quite a while now. Dealing with engineering and consulting stuff isn't always glamorous, but it keeps us busy every day. Most of the time, the desks are covered in big paper maps and technical drawings that we’re trying to figure out. Malleswaram is such a traditional part of the city, and we like being tucked away in this building. You might miss the entrance if you’re driving too fast, but we've got a sign up. It’s just a few of us working here. We handle the structural side of things, making sure everything is calculated right so buildings stay standing. Sometimes we’re out at sites getting our boots dirty, other times we’re just sitting here staring at computer screens for hours. It’s a lot of math and checking things twice. People around the neighborhood know us as the guys who do the technical work. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that, just a couple of chairs for visitors and a lot of filing cabinets. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up when we need a break from the calculations. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we enjoy the puzzles that different projects bring to the table. If you're looking for the complex, it’s near the old market area.
