Foodizo Cafe

Foodizo Cafe is tucked away on 25th Cross in Banashankari Stage II. We are right near Siddanna Layout, in a building that’s seen better days. The cafe isn't very large, just a few tables and a kitchen area that’s a bit cramped. We opened up because we wanted a place in the neighborhood where you could get a decent bite without any fuss. The walls are a bit scuffed and the chairs don't all match, but it feels like home to us. We do all the cooking ourselves. My friend handles the stove and I take care of the customers and the cleaning. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking to the regulars who live in the flats nearby. Other days, the lunch rush hits and it’s a total scramble. We’ve had a few issues with the wiring, so the lights flicker sometimes, but it adds to the character, I guess. We don't have a big fancy menu. We just make what we’re good at. The kitchen gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually prop the back door open for some air. We aren't trying to be the most popular spot in Bangalore. We just want to keep the kitchen running and serve some food to the folks in Banashankari. It's a simple life and we like the independence it gives us. If you’re ever walking around the layout, feel free to stop in.
