You can find us right on 1st Cross Ulsoor Lake Road. It’s a nice area to work in, especially being so close to the water. We mostly deal with the trading side of things, specifically flowers. It’s a lot of back and forth with growers and buyers. Our place at 264 is where we coordinate everything. It isn't a big, shiny showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just a practical workspace where we can keep the flowers cool and get them sorted. The humidity near the lake can be a bit much sometimes, but it’s actually okay for the stock. We start our days pretty early before the sun gets too hot. Most of us have been around Ulsoor for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the local rhythms. We don't put on any airs about what we do. It’s just about getting fresh flowers from point A to point B without them wilting. There’s a lot of cleaning up to do at the end of every shift because of all the stems and water. It’s a simple life, really. We just focus on the trade and making sure we have enough stock for the next day. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the flowers aren't exactly what we expected, so we just deal with those problems as they come up. We are just a small crew doing our best to keep the trading business going on this side of the lake.
