Flavors

If you are walking around Ejipura near Vissanji Park, you might see Flavors sitting right there on Nigam Cross Road 3. We are pretty close to the railway station, so there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. It is a busy spot, and we stay on our feet most of the day. Inside, the kitchen is where most of the action happens with pots bubbling and timers going off. We do not have a fancy setup, just some sturdy tables and chairs for people to sit down and eat. The menu is written out and we try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. We get all kinds of people coming in, from workers on their lunch break to folks just getting off the train. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going to move the air around. Sometimes the delivery drivers are waiting in a line near the entrance, which makes things feel a bit cramped. We have been in this location for a while and know the neighborhood well. The street noise is constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks of working here. We just focus on getting the food right and making sure the floors stay clean enough. It is a regular job for us, and we take it one day at a time without much fuss.
