Fast Track Citi Taxi

You can find us on the first floor at 146 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. We are right above the Reliance Fresh, which makes it easy to explain to people where to go. The building is called Poonam Complex on KHB Road. It is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. The office itself is usually cluttered with logbooks and car keys. We have a few people sitting at the desks taking calls and shouting to the drivers. Fast Track Citi Taxi has been here for a bit. The stairs up to the first floor are a little steep, and we probably should fix that one light in the hallway that keeps flickering. Most of the day is spent coordinating where the cars are. Sometimes a driver gets a flat tire or the traffic near the market is just too much, so we have to shuffle things around. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of waiting for the phone to ring. We don’t do anything special, just try to get the taxis out to the customers on time. Sometimes we run out of milk for tea and someone has to run downstairs to the Reliance Fresh. It’s just a normal workplace with a lot of movement. We keep the cars running and make sure the drivers know their routes for the day. It gets loud when the delivery trucks arrive downstairs.
