Ethnic Fashionista

We ended up setting up at Site No. 1 and 2 on the 1st Main Road in Avallahalli. It's just off Mysore Road, so it's fairly easy to find once you get into the lane. We’ve been here for a few years now. It started out as just a small idea because we liked traditional clothes and wanted to see if we could sell them ourselves. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. We spend a lot of time arranging the hangers and making sure everything looks okay. Mysore Road always has so much traffic, but our little corner is a bit quieter. We get a mix of people coming in—moms looking for something for their kids or students from nearby colleges. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a waiting lounge. There are just a few chairs if someone needs to sit down while their friend tries something on. We mostly just talk to customers about what they’re looking for and try to find something that fits. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the emergency lights, but we just keep going. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to be a big brand. We just like having our own place on the 1st Main Road. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door.
