Ennex Tea Stall

If you are ever walking down Krjtridge Road in Shanthi Nagar, you’ll probably see us at 64/3. That’s where Ennex Tea Stall is located. It’s not a big cafe or anything, just a small place where we boil the milk and brew the tea all day long. I start early in the morning, usually before the sun is even up, to get everything ready for the first wave of people going to work. We serve tea, coffee, and a few snacks like biscuits and buns. The stove is always going, and the smell of ginger and tea leaves usually fills the air around the stall. It’s a simple setup with a few benches for people to sit on, but most folks just stand around and chat while they drink their tea. We see all kinds of people here, from office workers in Shanthi Nagar to the drivers passing through on Krjtridge Road. The place gets busy around ten in the morning and again in the late afternoon. Sometimes I run out of snacks before the day is over, which is a shame, but I try to keep enough in stock. The stall has been here for years, and the walls have some soot on them from the stove, but it's a comfortable spot. We don't have a menu with fifty items. We just do tea and coffee the way people like it. It’s a lot of standing on my feet.
