Engineers Inc.

If you’re looking for us, Engineers Inc. is tucked away on the first floor over in Basaweswara Nagar. It’s at No. 176, right near that 3rd Cross on 3rd Main in J. C. Nagar. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit now. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. Inside, it’s mostly just desks piled with papers and blueprints. It isn't a huge operation. We spend most of our time looking at schematics or talking on the phone with suppliers. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but we’re used to it. We drink a lot of coffee to get through the afternoon slump. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we know the area pretty well. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood most days. We do engineering work, mostly the practical kind where you have to figure out why something isn't fitting right. There’s no big reception area or anything like that. Just us working. We try to get things done without making a big fuss about it. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but usually, we’re out by six. It’s a decent place to work. We’ve got a window that looks out over the street, which is nice when you need a break from the screen. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It’s not glamorous, but the work gets done.
