Elite Teknica Pvt Ltd is based in Abbigere, which is part of the northern side of Bengaluru. This area has grown a lot lately with many small industries setting up. Our place is one of those functional spaces where we focus on technical work and manufacturing bits. It’s not a place for visitors to come and see a showroom; it’s really just where the work happens. We have a few machines and a small office area that’s usually covered in drawings and notes. The staff here are mostly local folks who know their way around a workshop. We spend our time working on various technical projects, often trying to figure out how to make a certain part fit just right. We don’t have a lot of formal rules or a big human resources department. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out over lunch or while we’re working. The days can be long, especially when we have a lot of orders to get through, but we manage. We try to keep the place as clean as we can, but when you’re working with metal and tools, things get a bit messy. It’s a practical environment for practical people. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a solid workshop in Abbigere. We just take it one day at a time and see what needs doing next. Most of the time, the radio is playing in the background while we work on the latest assembly task.
