Amsterdhami

Our place, Amsterdhami, is at No. 592. We call the building Dhamidham. It’s on 5th Cross, Gundappa Gowda Road in Ejipura. We are quite close to Green View Hospital. It’s a handy landmark for people trying to find us. The area is always buzzing with people and scooters. We’ve been here for a good while now. The name is a bit unusual, but it means something to us. Our space is not very corporate. We’ve got some mismatched chairs and a table where we all sit together. There’s no big boss in a private office here. We just work side by side. We do various things depending on the day. Sometimes we are very busy and other times we just sit and drink coffee. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants. They don't always look very healthy because we forget to water them. It’s a very local operation. We know the shopkeepers on the street and they know us. We don't do any big advertising. If people need us, they usually hear about us from someone else. It’s a slow and steady way of doing things. We’ve had some tough times keeping the place going, but we are still here. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a good job.
