The Ecom House building is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Being situated at 489/11 Whitefield Janki Kutir in Juhu, we get a lot of that coastal Mumbai air, though it’s mostly just humid. Down here in Andheri West, specifically around the Four Bunglows area, there is never a quiet moment. We’ve got bags of coffee moving in and out because that’s the main thing we do at Ecom Gill Coffee Trading. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is mostly desks, phones, and the smell of beans that haven't been roasted yet. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear the person on the other end of the line, but you get used to it after a month or two. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the address that people look for. We’ve been at this for a bit, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We check the shipments, talk to the suppliers, and make sure the paperwork is sorted out for the next delivery. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of calling. Sometimes we walk down the street to grab a snack when things get slow in the afternoon. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but this corner stays pretty much the same. It's just a regular spot where work gets done without much fuss or bother.
