Dynamic Engineering

Our shed is number 154, tucked away near the Volvo garage on Ck Palya Road. If you know Bannerghata, you know it’s a lot of grease and heavy lifting around here. We spend most of the daylight hours working on machines and fixing parts that people bring in. It’s loud, mostly because of the tools and the traffic from the main road. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, but that’s just how an engineering shop looks when work is getting done. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The neighbors are mostly other workshops, so we all kind of know each other. Sometimes it gets really dusty when the wind blows off the road, but we keep the doors open anyway to get some air. We don’t have a front office or anything like that, just the workbench and the tools we’ve gathered over the years. Some days we’re busy from sunrise, other days we’re just waiting for a part to arrive. It’s honest work, even if it’s tough on the hands. We just try to get the jobs finished so the machines can go back to wherever they came from. It’s not much to look at from the outside, just a big metal shed with a lot of heavy stuff inside. But we know where every wrench is kept, and that’s what matters for us.
