Dutyfree Shop Airport,Benglur

Our spot is over in Cauvery Nagar, specifically the third cross near the airport area in Bangalore. Even though the name says airport, we handle the logistics and the shop details from our office at No. 21/K. Bangalore has changed so much since we started. The traffic near the airport road is always a bit of a mess but we’ve learned the shortcuts by now. Working in the duty-free side of things means we see a lot of different products coming through. It’s a lot of checking labels and making sure the inventory matches what’s on the shelf. The office is usually filled with samples and half-empty boxes. It’s not the cleanest place in the world but it’s where we get the work done. We have a few staff members who have been with us forever. We just focus on the daily tasks like updating the price lists and making sure the transport trucks are on schedule. Sometimes a shipment arrives late and we have to stay late to sort it out. It’s just regular work. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make sure the shop stays stocked so travelers can get what they need. It’s a busy life but we like being part of the hustle and bustle of the city. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
