Durga Devi Travels

You’ll find us at 408 in Girinagar 2nd Phase. We’re quite close to the Raghavendra Swamy Temple. It’s a peaceful area compared to the city center. At Durga Devi Travels, we arrange trips and handle vehicle bookings. Most of our work happens over the phone or with people walking in from the neighborhood. The office is just a simple room with a couple of plastic chairs and a desk. We have a big map of the state on the wall that’s seen better days. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time. Sometimes we have to deal with grumpy drivers or cars breaking down. We just do our best to fix the situation. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We know most of the families around here. They come to us when they need a van for a wedding or a car for a temple visit. The morning bells from the temple are a nice way to start the day. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We keep a ledger to track all our bookings. It’s old school but it works for us. Girinagar is our home, and we like that our work keeps us connected to the people who live here. It's just a small business doing its part in the community. We will likely be here at our desks for many more years to come. That is enough for us.
