Dinesh Karthik B Tourist Cabs is run right out of my place here at 298 Nandini Layout. It’s in the KSLB Quatres area of Jai Bhuvaneshwari Nagar. I started this because I know the roads well and I have a couple of cars that I keep in good shape. It’s not a big company with a fleet of hundreds; it’s mostly just me and a few other drivers I trust. We don’t have a fancy office building with a glass front. My desk is basically my kitchen table or the front seat of the cab. When you call, you’re usually talking directly to me or someone in my family. The neighborhood is a busy one, and parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we make it work. I’ve lived in Nandini Layout for a long time, so I know all the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic. We take people to the airport, out on trips to the countryside, or just around the city for errands. There are no corporate scripts here. We just pick you up, help with the bags, and get you where you need to go. Some days are long, starting early before the sun is up, but that’s the nature of the taxi business. I like meeting different people, even if it’s just for a short ride. It’s a simple living, and I try to keep it honest and reliable for everyone who chooses to book a trip with us. Just simple cabs and clear routes.
