Dimo Castings is based at Plot 268 in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, III Phase. We’ve been in this industrial zone for quite a while now, and it’s a good place for a casting business. The work we do is pretty intense, involving hot metal and heavy molds. Our facility is a big, open shed that’s designed for function rather than looks. It gets very warm in here, especially in the summer months when the furnaces are running at full tilt. We aren't a big, polished company with a fancy headquarters. We’re just a group of people who know how to work with metal. The floor is usually dusty and there’s a lot of heavy equipment around. We have a small office space for the paperwork, but you’ll usually find the managers out on the floor with everyone else. We don't use any corporate jargon or marketing speak. We just talk about the jobs we have and the parts we need to cast. It’s a tough environment, but there’s a lot of skill involved in making sure the castings come out right. We’ve been doing this for years, and we just keep our focus on the daily production. We don't bother with advertisements or anything like that. People know where to find us in Bommasandra if they need our kind of work. It’s just a regular, hard-working casting shop trying to do its part in the industry. We just keep the furnaces hot.
