Jeveria Oil Castings

Jeveria Oil Castings is situated at 47/1 on the 4th Cross of Hanumantappa Siddaiah Road. It’s a corner of the city that feels like it’s always moving. Our workshop is filled with the smell of sand and hot metal. Casting is a hot, heavy process. We spend a lot of time preparing molds and waiting for the metal to reach the right temperature. It’s not the kind of work you can rush. If you walk inside, you’ll see bags of casting sand and stacks of wooden patterns everywhere. The walls are darkened by the smoke and heat over the years. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a big order to get through. We’ve got a couple of old fans that struggle to keep us cool, but we make do. People come to us for specific parts they can’t find elsewhere. We’ve lived and worked around Siddaiah Road for years, so we know most of the people on the street. It’s a community of workshops and small stores. Lunch is usually something quick from the stall around the corner. We don't have a website or a fancy logo. We just have our hands and the furnace. Sometimes a casting doesn't come out right, and we have to start all over again. The floor is always a bit uneven because of the heavy machinery and the sand. We have a small sink in the back where we try to wash the grease off.
