Our base is in Kundalahalli, specifically on Madhya Marg in Sector-8 C. If you’re looking for us, we are right above the Silver Line Bakery. It actually smells like fresh bread in the office most mornings, which is probably the best part of the job. Dial7 Cabs isn't a huge corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a small dispatch office where we keep track of the cars and the drivers. The phone rings a lot, mostly people looking for a ride to the office or wanting to know where their driver is. We deal with the usual Bangalore traffic problems every single day. Sometimes a car gets stuck and we have to find another one nearby to help out. The office itself is pretty simple, just a few desks and some chargers for the phones. We’ve got a little seating area for drivers when they’re waiting for their next shift. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just pick people up and drop them off. Whether it’s an early morning airport run or someone coming home late from work, we just try to keep the wheels moving. We’ve been in this spot above the bakery for a while now and the locals know us. It’s a busy neighborhood, and we fit right in with the noise and the constant movement of the street below.
