Devi Prasad Family Shoppe

Devi Prasad Family Shoppe is on New Ram Mandir Road. We are at number 12 in the Kher Nagar part of Malleshwaram. This is a very old and familiar neighborhood for us. We’ve seen the streets change over the years, but the temple nearby stays the same. Our shop is where we spend almost all our time. It’s a family thing, so there is usually one of us behind the counter from morning until late evening. Malleshwaram has a certain way about it, very traditional and busy. We get a lot of regulars who live just a few streets away. They stop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put the new stock. Sometimes boxes pile up near the back door. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything fancy. We just try to be helpful to the people who walk in. The air smells like incense from the temples around here. It’s a nice place to work. We have some old wooden shelves that have been here since we started. They aren't perfect, but they hold everything just fine. If you are walking down New Ram Mandir Road, you will see our sign. It’s a bit faded now, but people know where we are. We just take it one day at a time and keep the shop going.
