Design Engineer

Suresh Babu here. I run Design Engineer out of my place at Maliyappattu Village. It’s near the Panamadangi Post and you have to go via Latteri to get here in the Vellore district. It is a quiet spot, nothing like those big offices you see in the cities. I’ve been doing this for a long time now. My setup is pretty basic. I have a desk, my tools, and some old files. Most days it is just me working through drawings and technical stuff. The weather in Vellore gets really hot, so the fan is always humming in the background while I work. I didn't want a big corporate life. I prefer being here in the village where I grew up. People in Maliyappattu know where to find me if they need something designed. It is not a fancy operation with a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and we talk about the project. I handle all the technical parts myself. Sometimes the power goes out and I have to take a break, but that is just how it is living here. I don't use any of those big marketing words. It is just honest engineering work. I keep my head down and focus on what is in front of me. If you are coming from Latteri, just look for the signs for Panamadangi and you will eventually find us. It’s a simple life and I like it that way.
