Design Engineer

I work as a Design Engineer out of Room 02 in the New Building at the R. B. Dg. T. C Hostel. It’s a bit of an unusual spot, being so close to the City Railway Station in Bangalore, but it works for what I need. The area is always moving and there is a lot of noise from the trains and the crowds outside, but inside the room, it's my dedicated workspace. I’ve been here for a while now, and the location is actually quite handy because it’s so central. Being in Bangalore-23 means everything is nearby. It’s a very small setup—just a desk, my computer, and some shelves for my reference books and files. I don't have a big corporate team or fancy meeting rooms. When I have work to do, I just sit down and get through it. People usually find me because they need something designed and they know I’m right here in the middle of the city. It’s a very practical arrangement. The hostel building isn't anything special, just a plain brick and concrete place, but it's where I do my best thinking. I don't spend money on fancy decorations or office furniture because that doesn't help the engineering designs anyway. It’s just me in Room 02, working on whatever project comes my way this week.
