So, we’re based in Bsk-Iii Stage in Bangalore. If you know the city, you know this part of Banashankari is pretty busy but it has its own nice vibe. I’ve been working as a design engineer here for some time now. My workspace isn't anything special to look at, just a regular office where we handle all the technical plans and drawings. Bangalore is full of engineers, I know that, but we just focus on our own corner of the city and do our thing. Most of the day is spent dealing with technical software and trying to solve design problems that pop up out of nowhere. It can be frustrating when a calculation doesn't work out like it should, but that’s just the nature of the job. I like being in Bsk-Iii Stage because it’s relatively easy for folks to get to, though the roads can be a total mess during peak hours. We don’t really have a big team or fancy meetings with coffee. Usually, it’s just me and maybe one other person going over blueprints and trying to make sense of what a client is asking for. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes we lose track of time when we're deep into a design and the sun goes down before we realize it. It’s not about being the biggest firm in the city; it’s just about getting the engineering right for whoever walks through the door.
