Design Engineer

Our office is located at number 46 in the Defence Colony area of Sahakaranagar, Bangalore. It’s a relatively quiet part of the city compared to the madness of the central business districts. We like it here because there are plenty of trees and the streets aren't as clogged with traffic. We’ve been operating as design engineers from this location for some time now. The building is just a standard house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which we think is a better way to spend the day anyway. We don't have any big signs out front or anything like that. Inside, it’s just us and our workstations, surrounded by paper and some technical books. Most days involve a lot of sitting and calculating, though we do go out for walks around the colony when we need a break. The weather in Bangalore is usually pretty good for working, not too hot and not too cold. We don't really do any promotion or advertising for our services. People usually find out about us through friends or by just walking past and seeing what we do. It’s a very low-key operation. We just focus on the design tasks at hand and try to make sure we don't miss any deadlines. It's a nice, steady way to work and live in this part of town without all the corporate pressure.
