Derust Engineers

Our office at Derust Engineers is on the second floor of a building in Doctors Lay Out. We are right there on 1st Cross in Chikkalsandra. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We have been here for a bit now, and the neighborhood is pretty decent for a small engineering outfit. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees; it’s just a few of us making sure everything runs the way it’s supposed to. The workspace is filled with drawings, some old equipment, and desks that have seen better days. It isn't about looking impressive to visitors; it’s about having a place where we can actually think and get the technical stuff right. Sometimes the tea lady comes by, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon when things get stressful. Chikkalsandra has changed a lot since we first arrived, but we’ve managed to stay put at number 30. We deal with a lot of local clients who just need someone to look at a problem and find a way to fix it without a lot of fuss. We try to keep our overhead low so we don't have to charge people crazy prices. It’s just honest work, really. We come in, look at what needs doing, and try to get home at a reasonable hour, though that doesn't always happen when a project gets complicated.
