Demo Engg

So, this is Demo Engg. We are located over at Sri Ranganathaswamy Nilaya, right on the road leading to the Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple in Tumkur. It’s a busy spot, especially on festival days when the temple gets crowded. My father, Revanna B. T., started this whole thing, and we just kept it going. The workshop is usually full of metal scraps and the smell of grease. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where everything is. If you need something fabricated or fixed, we usually just handle it right there on the floor. People know the address because of the temple nearby, so it’s easy to find us. We spend a lot of time just working through the daily pile of jobs that come in. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the steps and chat with the neighbors until it comes back. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have fancy brochures or a sales team. It’s just me and a couple of guys who have been here for years. We do engineering work because it’s what we learned. Tumkur-572102 is home for us. We’ve seen the road change over the years, more traffic now, but the shop stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get it done right for whoever walks through the door.
