We've been here in Malleshwaram on 13th Cross for a while now. My name is Deepak and I started this business just because I knew the roads around Margosa Road so well. People always used to ask me who was selling what or which house was sitting empty, so it made sense to open a small office at number 107. It isn't a fancy place with big glass windows or anything like that. We just sit here and talk to neighbors who are looking for a change. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times it is quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. Most of our work is just keeping track of which building is going up and who is moving out of the old family homes nearby. It's a lot of walking and talking. Dealing with paperwork is the boring part, but it has to be done right so nobody gets a headache later. We know the area like the back of our hands because we live here too. If you walk past the Margosa Road corner, you will see our sign. It’s just me and a couple of others trying to keep things organized. We don't have a big corporate strategy or anything. We just know which landlords are okay and which spots get too much sun in the afternoon. That’s pretty much how we spend our days here, sitting with a cup of tea and looking at the maps on the wall. We know how hard it is to find a good place these days, so we just try to be straight with people about the prices and the plumbing in the older buildings.
