Working in an engineering shop means there is always a bit of grease and the sound of machines running. It’s a noisy part of town, especially with all the transport and trade happening on Silver Jubilee Park Road every day. Our space isn't huge, but we have enough room for the tools and equipment we need to do our jobs. Most of the day is spent handling metal parts, fixing things, or checking measurements. It’s dirty work sometimes, but that’s just how it goes in this line of business. The lane is usually crowded with bikes and delivery trucks, so getting in and out can be a bit of a squeeze. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners nearby. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a big reception desk. People just come straight to the back where we’re working. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, just focusing on the engineering work that comes our way from the local area and the surrounding markets.
