Dee Eem

You can find us at number 12, on 11th A Cross in the II Stage of West of Chord Road. Bangalore has changed a lot, but this pocket around Dee Eem still feels like the old neighborhood in some ways. We’ve been set up here for a while, dealing with our daily tasks in a building that’s seen better days but holds up just fine. The cross roads here can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers, so we often find ourselves standing outside to wave them down. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through the lists and keeping track of the inventory. There is no big marketing team or anyone wearing suits here. We usually just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. The afternoon sun hits the front windows pretty hard, so we keep the blinds down most of the time. We have a small corner for lunch where we sit and talk about things other than work. It’s a quiet enough operation most days, though things pick up when a big shipment arrives. We don’t really bother with fancy descriptions of our business. We just make sure the work is finished and the gate is locked at the end of the day. It’s a practical way to run things, and it keeps us grounded. If you ever come by, you’ll probably see a few of us chatting near the entrance during a break.
