Cuppa

We've been running Cuppa here in Jayanagar 3rd C Cross, right on 6th A Main in the 2nd Block. Our building is number 54/7, or old number 54 if you’re looking at the old records. It’s a pretty comfortable spot. We spend our days making a lot of coffee and tea for the neighborhood. It’s not a very big place, but we have some tables where people can sit and do their work or just talk. The 2nd Block is a bit more relaxed than some other parts of town, which we like. We have to keep an eye on the supplies, making sure we have enough milk and sugar and tea leaves. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we have to scramble a bit. The chairs have been around for a while and they aren't the newest, but they do the job. We get a mix of students and older folks who have lived in Jayanagar for years. It’s mostly just us brewing drinks and cleaning up mugs. We don't have any fancy music playing, just the sound of the kettle and people chatting. It feels like a normal part of the street. We try to keep the place tidy, but when it’s busy, we’re mostly focused on getting the drinks out. It’s a simple life running a cafe on this crossroad. We mostly just keep the beans grinding and the hot water flowing until it's time to lock up the front door for the night.
