Cuppa

Cuppa is a small coffee shop we have over at Kumarswamy Layout Ashwin Nagar Samlaya. We didn’t start this with a big plan or anything. We just liked the idea of having a place where people could grab a drink. It’s not a fancy cafe. We have some old wooden tables and a couple of posters on the walls. The espresso machine is a bit moody sometimes, especially when it’s raining outside. Most of our customers are folks from Ashwin Nagar who just want a break. We don’t have a big team of baristas. It’s just a few of us. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure we have enough beans for the next day. Kumarswamy Layout is a busy area, so it’s never really quiet. We don’t have any fancy marketing. We just put a sign out front in Samlaya and hoped people would come in. It’s been a few years now. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. We aren’t trying to be a big chain. We just want to stay open and keep the coffee hot. Sometimes we run out of snacks by noon, but that’s just how it is. We don’t have any grand mission. We just like being here and seeing the same faces every day. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy. If you’re around, you can find us at the address.
