Couch Potato

Couch Potato is tucked away at 23 BTM Layout 2nd Stage on the 4th Cross. If you are looking for us, we are right next to Gangotri Hospital. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood. We started this place because we wanted a spot where people could just come and hang out without feeling rushed. The name kind of says it all, we have some comfortable seating and the lighting isn't too bright. During the day, you see a lot of people from the hospital or folks living in the nearby apartments stopping in. The traffic on the 4th cross can get a bit loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home, but inside it stays pretty relaxed. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us here making sure the place is tidy and the orders are going out. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or we run out of a particular drink, but we just handle it as it comes. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars who live around BTM. It’s not a high-end lounge, just a local spot with some old posters on the walls and mismatched furniture. We like it that way because it feels more like a living room than a business. It’s just a place to sit for a while.
