Cothas Coffee Co is out at the Jigani Industrial Area. The address is a bit of a mouthful, covering 609-560/1, 609-560/2, and 323 Part B on the Jigani Bommsandra Link Road in Anekal Tk. Because we are in an industrial area, there is a lot of space, which is good because we need it for all the coffee work. You can usually smell the coffee before you even see the building. It’s a strong, rich scent that fills the air around the link road. The work here at Cothas Coffee Co is pretty constant. We have big machines for roasting and packing, and there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded at the docks. The Jigani Bommsandra Link Road is always busy with traffic, so we have to plan our deliveries carefully. It’s not a glamorous job, it’s mostly manual labor and monitoring the machines to make sure everything is running right. Anekal Tk is a bit of a drive from the city, but it’s where the real work happens. We have a lot of people working across the different sections of the facility. It is loud, it is hot near the roasters, and it is always busy. We don't spend time on fancy speeches or marketing slogans; we just make sure the bags are filled and the trucks go out on time. It’s a lot of hard work, but we’re used to it. We start early and stay until it is done.
