Cothas Cofee Co.

Our place, Cothas Cofee Co., is out in the Jigani Industrial Area. The address is a bit of a mouthful, 609-560/1 and some other numbers on the Bommasandra Link Road. It’s a big dusty area with lots of trucks moving around, but it’s where the work gets done. We handle coffee here, from the raw beans to the final packs people buy. The smell of roasting coffee is everywhere, which is nice if you like that sort of thing. It’s a functional factory setup, so don’t expect anything like a fancy cafe. We have machines running most of the day, and it can get pretty loud. Anekal Taluk is a bit far out from the main city center, so the commute for some of us is quite long. We spend our time checking the roast levels and making sure the packaging machines don't jam up again. There’s always a lot of movement in the warehouse, with bags of beans being moved on pallets. We’ve got a small office section where we handle the orders, but most of the action is on the floor. It’s hot in the summer because of the roasters, but we're used to it. We just keep our heads down and get the coffee out to the shops. It’s honest work, and we’ve been at it for a long time in this same spot. Nothing much changes around here, just more trucks on the road and more coffee being roasted every day.
