About Coorg Coffee Cafe – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
If you go down to Fraser Town Tavdipura 13, you’ll find us at Coorg Coffee Cafe. It’s an old building, and number 13 has a bit of a slanted floor that makes the tables wobble if you don't put a piece of cardboard under the legs. We spend most of our time grinding beans and trying to keep the place smelling decent. Fraser Town has changed a lot lately, but this little corner stays mostly the same. We have these old wooden benches that have been here since we opened. People come in to escape the rain or just to get away from the noise of the street for a bit. I usually start the day by sweeping the front step and watching the neighborhood wake up. It’s not a polished place with shiny machines, just the basics to get a cup of coffee ready. We talk to the regulars about the weather or the local news while we work. The light inside is a bit dim because of the narrow windows, but it makes the place feel cozy when it’s cold outside. We don't have a mission statement or a big philosophy, we just like the smell of the beans and the fact that we have a place to go every morning.
