We are way up on the 11th floor of Raheja Towers, specifically in the West Wing on M.G. Road. It’s a long way from the ground, which is funny because most of our work involves looking at things crawling around in the dirt or hiding in walls. We handle pest control chemicals and everything that goes with it. The office is usually humming with the sound of the AC and people answering the phones. We spend a lot of time talking about termites, rodents, and how to keep them away from buildings. It’s not the most pleasant topic for some, but it’s a necessity. Being in such a tall building in the heart of Bangalore means we see the city change every day. Our team is a mix of people who know the science of chemicals and those who know how to talk to frustrated homeowners. We don't try to sound like a big corporation even though we’re in a big tower. We just focus on the chemicals and making sure they do what they are supposed to do. Sometimes the elevators in this building take forever, which is a bit of a joke among the staff. We keep a lot of technical manuals and safety sheets around to make sure everything is handled correctly. It’s a serious business, dealing with pests and chemicals, so we don't mess around with fluff or fancy talk. We just do the job.
