If you are looking for us, we are right on Vivek Nagar Main Road. We sit diagonally opposite the Canara Bank. It is a good spot because everyone knows where the bank is. Our day starts early, usually before the sun is even up properly. We deal with cars and drivers all day long. There is a lot of phone ringing and checking schedules to make sure everything is on time. Confedent Cabs isn’t a huge company with a fancy call center. It is just us in the office making sure the drivers know where to go and the cars are running okay. Vivek Nagar gets very busy, so we hear the horns and the buses going by all the time. Sometimes a driver comes in to complain about the traffic or a flat tire, and we have to figure it out right then. It can be a bit stressful when a lot of things happen at once, but we manage to get through it. We have got a small map on the wall and a lot of notebooks for keeping track of things. We don't have fancy leather chairs for visitors, just a couple of plastic ones by the door. The floor gets a bit dusty from the road outside, and we drink a lot of coffee to keep going. It is a plain business. We just try to keep the cars moving and make sure people get where they need to go in one piece.
