You can find Commercial Links over at Gandhi Nagar Ashram Road 19. It’s a bit of an old building, but it serves us well enough for what we do. The stairs are a little narrow, and the lighting in the hallway could be better. I’ve spent many hours sitting at my desk here, looking out at the traffic on Ashram Road. It’s a central spot, so we see all kinds of people passing through Gandhi Nagar. The office isn't very large, and we have papers piled up in corners that we really should organize one day. We don't bother much with decorations or modern furniture. Most of what we have is functional and has been with us since the beginning. It feels lived-in and real. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing, and other times it's so quiet you can hear the clock ticking on the wall. We just handle whatever comes through the door or over the wire. Working at number 19 has its quirks, like the way the door sticks when it rains. But we are used to it by now. It’s just a place where business happens without any fuss. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a small team of us keeping the links going every day. We know the tea seller downstairs pretty well, and he knows exactly how we like our drinks. It's not a fancy life, but it's our life here at the office. We usually lock up around six.
