Coffee On Canvas

Our shop is over at number 84 on the 1st Cross in the ST Bed Layout of Basavanagar. If you follow the 12th Main, you’ll find the corner where we are. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads. We have some art on the walls, which is why we have the name we do, but it’s not a gallery or anything. It’s just a place where we have some tables and chairs for people to use. The floor is made of dark stone and we try to keep the lights low so it feels a bit more relaxed. We spend a lot of time behind the counter making drinks and washing up the mugs. Sometimes we have local artists come by to look at the walls, but mostly it’s just people from the layout popping in for a drink or to do some work on their phones. We have a few plants near the window that we try to keep alive, though the sun can be pretty strong there in the morning. The espresso machine is the loudest thing in the room and it kicks in every few minutes. We don't have a huge menu, just the things we know how to make well. It’s a small operation and we mostly just enjoy the quiet pace of this neighborhood. It’s a nice place to spend the afternoon when the street outside is calm and the sun starts to set.
